Supporting our students: the MSocSc Criminology scholarship
We are delighted to announce that the public can support our MSocSc Criminology alumni by making an online donation to the MSocSc Criminology scholarship. The MSocSc Criminology scholarship, started by alumni since 2009, is given to a undergraduate and taught postgraduate student in recognition of their academic achievement during the course of their studies.
The MSocSc Criminology programme has a long and rich history. Founded in 1986, the programme was designed to provide those working in the discipline services and related fields with an academic and policy oriented background for their work. Over the course of its 30 plus years, it remains the first and only fully dedicated taught postgraduate programme in criminology in Hong Kong, and has expanded its student body, attracting not only those from the discipline services but across a range of fields – social work, education, law, medicine, journalism, banking, and many others.
