Biography

Fang Ran is a full-time PhD student at HKU Sociology. He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Tsinghua University, and has worked as interns at a non-government organization and a social media which focus on China labor issue.

His research interests concern labor relation, labor organization as well as labor movement. His current research focuses on the analysis and comparison of various approaches of labor empowerment in Mainland China.
